Stewed apple

This recipe is packed full of gut healing apple pectin, and antimicrobial cinnamon. Make up a batch to use during the week.
It's good to take a tablespoon of this everyday, either as a dessert, breakfast, or mid day snack. Perfect served hot with bio yoghurt (non dairy) and crushed nuts.

Ingredients
3 cooking apples
1 cinnamon stick
1 t cinnamon
1 T raisons (optional)
Method
Core and chop apple into chunks with skin on.
Add to a saucepan with a cinnamon stick.
Half fill the pan with filtered water and simmer till smooth.
Add ground cinnamon and transfer to a bowl or storage pot.
