Cocoa breakfast chia

Chia seeds are a great plant based protein source. They’re also packed full of fibre and plant based (ALA) omega-3 fatty acids.

Cocoa is one of the richest sources of polyphenols and flavanols, which is a potent anti-inflammatory.

Ingredients

  • 2 T chia seeds

  • 1 t cocoa powder

  • 150 ml coconut milk


Method

  1. In a small pan add chia, cocoa powder and coconut milk and stir.

  2. Simmer on low for 5-10 mins.

  3. Serve with berries and chopped nuts.
